MAC Smokey Eye Tutorial: Halloween flashback

Hey, ladies! On Halloween a few of you requested a tutorial explaining the MAC Smokey Eyes look I used to dinner.

I was in the mood for MAC today, so I believed I’d provide it a try. It’s heavy on MAC products, however you might definitely utilize similar products from other brands.

How I Did the Eyes

First, to enhance the staying power of my eye makeup, I prepped my lids with a thin layer of as well dealt with shadow Insurance.

Then, with a MAC 249 synthetic shader brush, I patted a layer of nice Vice paint Pot onto the lid as well as into the crease.

With Smolder Eye Kohl, I drew a extremely thick line on my lids as well as along my upper lash as well as water lines…

…and then along the lower lash as well as water lines, doing my finest to truly get the pencil between the root of each lash (darkening the skin between the lashes to improve the preferred effect).

Knowing I was going to smudge pigment on top of the liner, I didn’t concern about untidy lines.

Next, I patted Dark spirit Pigment on top of the liner on the lid with a MAC 239 brush…

…and then used Dark spirit to the bottom lash line with a Sonia Kashuk angled Eye shadow Brush.

Next, I grabbed a MAC 252 clean as well as used Your Ladyship Pigment onto the brow bone…

…followed by Your Ladyship on the lower lash line with a Sonia Kashuk angled Eye shadow Brush.

For some added depth to the eyes, I swept Smoke Signal Pigment into the crease with a MAC 217 brush; then, with the exact same brush, smoothed out any type of harsh lines.

One of the most rockin’ methods to make shadows pop is by applying them wet, so I wet a MAC 209 clean with Fix+ as well as used a extremely thin line of Silver Fog Pigment along the upper lash line.

After curling my lashes with the legendary Shu Uemura lash curler, I added two layers of Plushblack luxurious Lash Mascara.

For some drama (it was Halloween, after all), I added some MAC Lashes on my upper lash line. I got the pair I’m utilizing right here (called “She’s Good,” LOL) with the MAC Heatherette collection from a few months ago, however you might utilize one more truly ballsy pair of falsies instead.

To surface the look, I cleaned up all the loose pigment around the eye area with Rimmel gentle Eye makeup Remover, added some concealer as well as filled in my brows.

Ferdig!

How to get the Cheek Look

Thankfully, the look gets super simple from here. For the cheeks, I used two layers of Blushbaby Powder blush onto the apples of my cheeks with a MAC 129 blush Brush.

How I Did the Lips

Again, reaching for a liner, I lined my lips with Chanel quite Pink Lip Definer. With a finger, I scrubed the liner to diffuse (aka smear) the line somewhat.

Then I added a layer of Modesty Cremesheen lipstick as well as used a layer of Chanel Astral Glossimer to total the look.
